Okay

Game works but movement is a bit jolted. Also not enough different decks of cards--one is very difficult to see because of small pritn, other is too big and chunky. Hard to focus.

Great FreeCell Game Needs A Little Tweaking

On the one hand, the ability to choose three levels of freecell complexity is brilliant! It sometimes takes me two days to win the hardest games. I have found two problems that, when updated, will make this game absolutely formidable! The first problem is the fact that, while one can undo moves that one has made, one cannot redo them once again automatically after one has undone them. As a result, it is not possible for me to go back to earlier moves to review them and, if I am OK with them, to then be able to simply go forward [or redo] them once again after I had gone backwards. Instead, after I have gone backwards, [and even if I have made no changes back there], I still need to make all subsequent moves as it they are new moves. This makes trying out alternative possiblie play scenarions VERY difficult! On a not really all that important second point, this freecell does apply consistently the freecell game rules regarding the number of cards that one can move from one stack to another. As a B.Sc. Computer Science grad, it is clear to me that the programming needs some few lines rewritten. Still on balance, this game does provide a LOT of entertainment, and so I accept the above two problemx and I keep playing it anyway! PS Question: Is it only possible to leave feedback on this game by winning a round of it first?

Free Cell

Finally found a game with a genuine challenge and on a level playing field. I enjoy the challenge of the hard level but Im not sure one should be able to do an "undo" more than once. I sometimes make a mistake because I have difficulty with color recognition and I like to be able to "Undo" once, but that should be enough. I love the game. Thanks.

NOT AS GOOD AS MICROSOFT FREECELL

I find the graphics too busy. I went thru all the decks to find one that is easier to look at, but all the cards seem too brilliant. Also, the menu doesnt offer the choice of non-animation. I guess it will take a little getting used to. There is no statistic option. I like to keep stats on the games I play. There is no hint option. When playing the difficult level, this is a nice option to check whether the player is missing something. I agree with steady pilgrim that the undo option should be used only once on a single play…but for every play as it is easy to click on a card accidently.

Freecell fun

Great game no hitches

Freecell

It is fun for the whole family..keep your mind active… love it..

Very poor compared to Microsoft Free Cell

The graphics are boring; the sounds annoying; and the fluidity of play is amateurish at best. Its a puzzle to me how Apple could actually permit the launch of such a half-baked clone of a game. Worst $1.99 Ive spent at the Apps Store.

free cell review

This is an awfull version of this game you should look up free cell on a pc computer and take notes !

FreeCell

An enjoyable time-waster. Just wish once you select a "hard" deal you didnt have to keep selecting it for every game - when youre into wasting time that extra second ….. well, I guess its not that serious.

Needs improvement

I love having the 3 options, however, there is no restart option for this game. Their needs to a be a restart option and the graphics are horrible, it really hurts my eyes.

Ms.

Does not give an option to restart your current game and does not give an option to complete automatically when all cards are freed.

Would be nice if it would let me play the way I want.

I find the game will allow me to play as I want occasionally but frequently it will not allow me to move things where I’d like. I’d like to move from one stack to another, the colours are correct, all the numbers are in order but nope, not allowed to move. May even have two open spots and a couple open up top and it still won’t let me. I realize that it may see a move or moves that I don’t. But that shouldn’t matter. As long as I’m following the rules it should allow me to decide when to move!

Freecell

A "restart" option is necessary for this game. There should be a statistics feature to see how one is doing over time.

Freecell

Great game, like the 3 levels of difficulty. Would be nice to get a hint. I just hope it doesnt require paying after we play 20 games.

decent time waster

not much to say. simple decent program

pretty good

It took getting used to after Microsoft Freecell. Once that’s done, it’s just as good really. A few games in, and no problem. I agree the graphics aren’t quite as good, but, then again I get to use a Mac now, so I’m happy with the trade off - which really isn’t that big of a deal.

Free Cell

Great game, vey entertaing

Rating of 9 out of 10, Yosemite, Mac Book Pro, Daily User

OVERALL - A SHORT DESCRIPTION OF IT: Really nice looking game that always feels rich, expensive and welcoming. flat and 3D card deck options. FREE Lots of options. Easy access to their other games. Lots of effort and thought went into the User Interface (UI) There are some things it doesn’t have or do that I would like to see - they are listed in the Cons below PROS - THINGS I REALLY LIKE ABOUT IT: About 6 card deck options and about 15 background options. Also the option to choose which side the Aces go to. I’ve foundover the last several years in different digital card games by different companies including Microsoft that every once in a while a weird / brown card will show up turned so you can’t see the numbers, and you can’t get rid of it once it’s there. In this game it can be removed by using the undo button immeciately after it appears. Nice to be able to get rid of it, instead of having it taking up space that could be used for other cards. In another game by a different company that card wouldn’t go away until you restarted the game. So this is a nice thing in this game I like the 3d looking card sets. It has a nice, rich, warm, inviting appearance. The opening screen has a warm green background with fancy gold framing and big buttons with large letters that are easy to read. The opening screen also allows you to choose any of their other games by clicking on their preview buttons. They offer MahJong, Bubbles (which I also have and enjoy), Chess, Farkle, Pool and more… It was FREE when I downloaded it. You can choose to use the SOUND or not. You can choose to have the AUTO-COMPLETE on or off. There are 3 levels of difficulty. the MENU button is always available. The UNDO button allows one step back. You can RESUME the game. I use it almost daily. CONS - THINGS I’D LIKE TO SEE: There isn’t any option to see if you’re getting better - like keeping track of your scores or anything. There is no REDO option. There is no option to RESTART the game. I can never finish LEVEL 3, so stay on the EASY and NORMAL DEALS. However, I find if I play for too long, even though starting a NEW GAME I am seeing the same card layout. And after seeing the same layout 4 times or so one gets tited of seeing it. The fact that they are repeated so often makes me think they don’t have a lot of options in the database. Don’t get me wrong there are lots of different games, but I play almost daily and for an hour or so each day, so i have run through them a lot. Just would be nicer to have more layout options. Wonder if it would be possible to get a Level between Normal and Hard?

Finally!

Finally a free Free Cell game that doesn’t appear to have glitches in it. AS long as you go into the menu and select the auto complete option, it is great fun to play. Other free versions I’ve tried all seem to have glitches - the ability to move more than you should or having cards that are out of place when it deals out the deck, but this version works and works well. Thank you!

Good game

Good game, once you get used to the graphics. It would be nice to have each deal assigned a number, like the original so you have the option of returning to particularly challenging games at a later time. J.pfeifer
