cant move stacks all the time..

I just started using it. Seems like the stacks get locked often and you cant move more than two or three cards on a pile at a time. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. And yes, I have them right in alternating colors descending order. There is some sort of bug in it that locks it. For example you can move the 7-6-5 all together to another 8... but you cant move 8-7-6-5 to another 9. Weird.. and annoying. Ive had to restart the game several times.

Fun Game

I like playing free cell, and this is a very good version. Has lots of perks and modes.

See bug and a problem

Not bad for a free game!

Fun

I love playing this game

Freecell

LOOSE the lousy fireworks!

I THINK YOU CHEAT

When I work toward a move you block the action because you note I am on the right track. At every level you are unbeatable and every level you are beatable. Perhaps you should be magnanimous and always give in when you now you are beaten. You hate to lose where as I love to win.

Basically it is good game

For those who expect every aspect of the game to be “spot on”, this isn’t the game for you. That being said, it is one of the better games out there. Since I’ve only used the free version, my opinions relate to that version. It has a few shortcomings that have already been mentioned. But as a first rate game, it is not. It wouldn’t take a lot to make it one and I’m not sure why the authors haven’t taken the effort to do so. Bottom line: If you want to kill some time without being “engrossed”, then it is one of the best free games out there.

Excellent free game

Excellent Freecell game!

Good app

it’s fun, works well, doesn’t crash. What more could I want?

Free Cell

Sometimes on auto complete it uses a card I want to use somewhere else and I have to undo or I move a row of cards and it puts them in an empty space. It doesn’t tell you when you have made all the moves or when a game is over and you can’t restart a game with out using the undo button a bunch of times. I do play often and enjoy it in spite of the irating parts.

HAS SOME BUGS

Full of bugs Sometimes a card will not turn over and it is usually an extra card. Some times a move will not be allowed when it is legal…3 spaces to move 3 cards onto an existing column and it is not allowed Some times clicking on an ace puts it on a duce instead of the Ace up stack.

Requires 2 many moves to play new game.

Normal is too easy. Hard is too hard.

Solitaire Fan

I really enjoy this game. I stumbled upon it when my other solitaire app stopped working. It is challenging enough and helps me unwind.

Just for fun!

I am enjoying this version. It is easy with a no stress vibe to it. No stats to try and beat just a relaxing game. I would like a restart button for when I need to start over but other than that it fits me just fine.

Can’t beat the price!

I have played this game in both Windows and on my Mac, and I am ignorant enough not to notice too many differences. I play this game to improve my thought processes, and it serves me well in that way. I don’t really care about the color or general appearance. It’s more important to me to challenge myself strategically than to give a rip about speed of the game, or other “vanity” issues. It’s a great time-killer, and I sincerely believe that mastery of this game will go a long way toward my ultimate goal, which is to rule the world.

Good Four

I like this version. I found the cards easy on the eyes and easily recognizable. At first I missed the timer and the won-lost stats, but they they don’t really add anything to the game, only to the ego. A minor annoyance is that the movement of the cards is sometimes unpredictable except when dragged. But that’s not a big problem when you’re not racing the clock.

best ever and games get progressively most difficult.

Love this game!

I appreciate the ability to change the skill level. Enjoyable game!

FreeCell

I like this game a lot and play daily. Overcoming weird placements of the card you need by finding ways to get rid of the cards sitting on top of it constitutes a challenge. I also enjoy moving columns of cards that are too long for the game to allow you to move them by finding a place to put maybe half of the column and then moving the top half followed by the bottom half. The only problem I have real trouble with is if I need say a red five and the black fours are already up in the final resting place because they have been moved there automatically and I can’t undo that. But there’s usually some sneaky thing you can do if you just look closely. A fun way to end a session online.
